Bobby Kaye Gooden was born July 9, 1945, in Chickasha, OK to Cleo and Betty Jo (Malone) James. She passed away Friday, June 9, 2023, in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 77. She grew up in the Enid and Watonga areas. Bobby loved fishing and farming as a younger woman. She was an avid horseback rider and worked with cattle. Later, Bobby married Russell Gooden on August 1, 1970, in Calumet, OK. They were married for more than fifty years before his passing. She worked as a homemaker and loved keeping her home in pristine condition and always decorated for holidays. She enjoyed crocheting in her free time. She was a tough woman who always worked hard. Bobby had a helpful spirit.
Bobby is survived by her 3 children, LaDonna Kaye Williams and husband Rodney of Hinton, OK, Diamond Cleveland of Geary, OK and Frank Allen Fetters, III of Oklahoma City, OK, 7 grandchildren, Jimmy, Dustin, Rocky Allen, Joshua, Felicia, Rodney, and Ashley and 11 great-grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Cleo and Betty Jo James and husband Russell Gene Gooden, 3 siblings, Jerry James, Johnny James, and Deborah Choat, and grandmother Georgie Malone.
