Bill Lierle

Bill Lierle was born on February 7, 1942 to Harold and Fannie (Hart) Lierle near Hydro, OK. He passed away Sunday, May 5, 2019 in Hydro, OK at the age of 77.   Bill grew up in the Sickles area.  He attended Sickles and Hydro schools. He married Wilma Magar on November 17, 1959 in Hydro, OK.  Bill worked at a mechanic shop in Hydro and managed a Gulf Filling Station in Weatherford.  He worked at Wheeler Chevrolet and Cummins Autogroup as a Service Technician for 45 years.  Bill enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, and attending his grandkids’ ballgames.  Bill also loved to work in his yard, but most of all Bill loved his family.  He grew up in the Mt. Zion Pentecostal Holiness Church South of Hydro where he was baptized as a young man.   

Survivors include his wife  Wilma Lierle of the home in Hydro, OK, 2 children, Brad Lierle and wife Janie of Lookeba, OK and Laura Marshall and husband Bernie of Hydro, OK, 8 grandchildren, Brandon Lierle and Brittani of Vinita, OK, Brandt Lierle and Lindsey of Mt. View, OK, Brayden Lierle and Colyn of Lookeba, OK, Bryson Lierle and Mikayla of OKC, OK, BreeAnna Williams and Louis of Texas, Taylor Lierle of Weatherford, OK Tori Marshall of OKC, OK, and Teah Marshall of Hydro, OK, 11 great grandchildren, 2 siblings, Betty Martinez and Ruben of OKC, OK, and Judy Brown and Larry of Jay, OK as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Bill was preceded in death by his parents Harold and Lyde Lierle, son, Brian Lierle and 4 brothers, Duane, Dean, Jim and Frankie Lierle.

Services: First Baptist Church,  2:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 8, 2019, Hydro, OK.

Officiating: Rev. Joe Sanders

Burial: Hydro Masonic Cemetery, Hydro, OK
