Betty J. Chapman was born on December 25, 1928, in Greenfield, OK to Harold E. and Zora (Duncan) Justice. She passed away Saturday, June 15, 2024, at her home in Watonga, OK at the age of 95.  Betty graduated from Greenfield High School in 1946. She married W.T. “Bill” Chapman, Jr. on November 30, 1947, and to this union three children were born: Trey, Jammaye, and Rennaye. She moved to Watonga in 1947 and lived in Watonga all the rest of her life. Betty accepted Christ as her personal Savior at a revival meeting and was baptized at the Greenfield Baptist Church at the age of 11. Betty began working for the Watonga US Post Office in 1966 and retired in 1988 after 22 years of service. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Watonga, OK and taught Sunday School for 60 years.     

Survivors Include: her son, Trey Chapman of Watonga, OK, and her daughter, Jammaye Chapman of Katy, TX, her grandchildren, Cassie Kerns and husband Adam of Amarillo, TX, and Will O’Hair and wife Alexis of Elkhart, KS, her great grandsons, Levi Kerns and Luke Kerns, of  Amarillo, TX, as well as many other relatives and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Zora Justice, her brothers, Eugene Justice and his wife LaHoma and Donald H, Justice and wife Edna, and her daughter, Rennaye Chapman O’Hair.
