Avree Brin Lake

Avree Brin Lake was born on December 19, 2003 in Oklahoma City, OK to Stephen Wayne and Monica Dawn (Juvenal) Lake. Avree passed away on September 2, 2023 in Geary, OK at the age of 19. Avree was currently attending Watonga Public Schools. She loved collecting rocks, growing plants, making bracelets, sewing, and prepping for the apocalypse. Avree researched bunkers and survival through YouTube videos and had a bunker for each of her family members all organized and planned. She always had a backpack with supplies to live on like MRE’s for food. She was a planner for sure; her most recent planner/notebook had her plan for life. She enjoyed lots of movies, especially scary and doomsday movies, watching The Walking Dead, and was picking out and designing tattoos with her family in mind. She had a very special relationship with her Nana, Jan Lake, and missed her very much. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Watonga. She had been baptized by her dad, Stephen, in the river.

Survivors Include: her parents, Stephen and Monica Lake of Geary, OK, her siblings, Bailee Flatt and husband Austin of Geary, OK, Sydnee Lake of Geary, OK, Cy Lake of Geary, OK, Emyree Lake of Geary, OK, Madison Vaughan of Oklahoma City, OK, Kiah Black of Geary, OK, and Kina Black of Geary, OK, her grandparents, Don and Donna Lake of Geary, OK, and John and Diane Juvenal of Oklahoma City, OK, her aunts and uncles, Weston and Bobbi Lake of Watonga, OK, Jennifer and Aaron Base of Geary, OK, and Brandy and Michael Bassett of Edmond, OK, many cousins, other relatives, friends, and her dog, Maizie.

Avree was preceded in death by her brother, Andrew Stephen Lake, her Nana, Jan Lake, and her faithful companion, Oscar.
