Andy Ulises Alvarez was born on September 4, 2010, in Weatherford, Oklahoma, to Rolando and Griselda (Guillen) Alvarez. He passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at the Carnegie Tri-County Hospital in Carnegie, Oklahoma, at the age of 14.  Andy was a beloved student at Lookeba-Sickles School, where he was actively involved in baseball, basketball, and FFA. A true country boy at heart, he had a deep love for farming and anything green—whether it was a tractor or a combine. He enjoyed riding four-wheelers, playing video games, spending time with his sister, and being surrounded by his family. His kind heart, bright smile, and adventurous spirit touched the lives of all who knew him.  He was a faithful member of Saint Eugene Catholic Church in Weatherford.

Andy is survived by his loving parents, Rolando and Griselda Alvarez, and his cherished sister, Mia Giselle Alvarez, all of the home in Lookeba; He is also survived by his grandparents: Crencencio Alvarez and Maria Paz de Alvarez, and Abel Guillen and Maria Dolores Trujillo; and his great-grandparents: Isabel Alvarez, Concepcion Juarez, and Teresa Trujillo.

He was preceded in death by other great-grandparents whose love and legacy remain in the hearts of the family.

In honor of Andy, the family requests that everyone attending the service wear a white shirt, blue jeans, and cowboy boots - a tribute to the way Andy lived and loved.

A memorial fund has been established at Legacy Bank for the family of Andy Alvarez.

Viewing will be held at Hinton Turner Funeral Home, Friday and Saturday, 9 AM – 9 PM, Sunday, 1 PM- 4 PM

Rosary/Wake Family Only Sunday 4 PM- 9 PM, Hinton, OK

Funeral services will be held on Monday at St Eugene Catholic Church in Weatherford, OK, at 1:00 PM, June 2, 2025 with Rev. Kelly Edwards officiating. Burial will follow at the Sickles Cemetery in Lookeba, Oklahoma.
