Andrea Ramos Hernandez

Andrea (Ramos) Hernandez was born on November 10, 1931 in Santa Maria del Rio, S.L.P., Mexico to Toribio and Cezaria (Ramos) Hernandez. She passed away at her home in Hinton, OK at the age of 90. Andrea grew up in Mexico and immigrated to the United States in 1982. She married Gregorio Hernandez in November of 1950 in Mexico. She worked as a laborer, picking tomatoes, on farms all along the East coast from New York to Florida. When she retired about 20 years ago, she moved to Hinton to be near her family. Andrea loved to read, loved her cat, loved cooking for her family, and enjoyed gardening always planning and tending to it. Andrea loved her family and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hinton, OK.

Survivors include: her children, Roberto Hernandez of Hinton, OK, Virginia Leon and husband Lionel of Hinton, OK, Maria DeJesus of Mexico, her grandchildren, Lupe Hernandez of Hinton, OK, Diana Hernandez of Hinton, OK, Jessica Leon-Salazar of Hinton, OK, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as many other relatives and friends.
