Alfred Dean "Sonny" Howe Obituary

Alfred Dean “Sonny” Howe was born September 11, 1954 in Anadarko Oklahoma to Alfred and Barbara (King) Howe. He passed away Thursday, August 22, 2024 at his home in Lookeba, Oklahoma at the age of 69. Sonny graduated from Binger High School and served in the Army National Guard. He worked in the oil and gas industry, worked as a manager for Cimarron Electric in Kingfisher, Oklahoma, for Elliott Construction as a lineman, and served as Manager for the Electric Department for the city of Anadarko. Sonny farmed with his father as a child and was a hard worker and a man of many talents he could do just about anything and would always help anyone he could.

 

 

He married Belinda and they had three children. He later married Penny Oliphant and gained 3 bonus children. Sonny loved to fish, rope, and spend time with his grandkids and great grandkids. Those grand and great grands could do no wrong in his eyes.

 

Sonny leaves behind his wife, Penny Howe of Lookeba, Oklahoma; three children Bradley Dean, Aaron, and Stephenie Howe; three bonus children Alisha Recker and husband Jonathan, Chelsi Rosser, and Brianna Story and husband Justin. His grandchildren, Serendipity Howe, Memphis Tiner, Saige Tiner, Ashton Howe, Blake Howe, Brenden Howe, Gunner Howe, and Reagan Howe; his bonus grandchildren Brittany, Karlee, Bradley, Dustee Recker and Payten and Clayton Gingher; bonus great grandchildren Braxton and Karter Duke. Two sisters, Paula Williams and husband Troy of Binger, Oklahoma, and Chery Mapes of Hinton, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

 

 

 Sonny was preceded in death by his parents Alfred and Barbara Howe, sister, Shelly Johnson and Great nephew Chase Mapes and brother-in-law Butch Mapes.
