Alexus "Lexi" Pendleton Obituary
Alexus “Lexi” Pendleton was born on December 29, 2002, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to Amber Renee Erlitz and Jerry Pendleton. She passed away on Monday, June 1, 2026, at the age of 23. Lexi graduated from Geary High School in 2022. During her school years, she was involved in cheerleading and softball and was known as a strong advocate for other students. She looked out for everyone and was especially active in supporting children with special needs and rare diseases. Known by many as a “Momma Bear” to rare disease children, Lexi had a caring heart and was always willing to help those in need. Following high school, Lexi worked at Domino’s in Watonga and at Hutches for a few years. She later lived briefly in Bethany and worked as an apprentice with a diesel mechanic company. She dreamed of attending Canadian Valley Technology Center and becoming a diesel mechanic. Lexi was engaged and lovingly helped raise her fiancé’s daughter, Violet, whom she absolutely adored. She enjoyed camping, spending time with children, dancing and making tik toks with friends and family, and making memories with family and friends. Lexi had an outgoing and adventurous personality, and her vibrant spirit could light up any room. She never met a stranger and had a gift for making everyone feel welcome and valued. Though her time on earth was far too short, Lexi’s compassion, loyalty, and love for others will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Her memory will be treasured forever, and her legacy of caring for others will never be forgotten.
Those left to cherish her memory include her parents, Amber and Mike Forney of Greenfield, Oklahoma; her siblings, Journey and Mikey Forney of Greenfield, Oklahoma; her best friend/sister at heart, Alyssa Burse and daughter Lillith of Oklahoma City; her grandfather, Thomas Pendleton of Michigan; and her grandmother, Mary Forney of Greenfield, Oklahoma.
