Raymond (Dan) Penrod was born on February 1, 1955 in Watonga, OK to Ralph and Elsie (Gilbert) Penrod. He passed away on July 21, 2019 at his home in Geary, OK at the age of 64. Dan graduated from Geary High School in 1973. He attended Vo Tech for a few years and worked for Pepsi as a service tech for 17 years retiring in 2017. Dan married Anna Rowland on October 23, 1998 in Downtown Oklahoma City, OK. Dan was an avid motorcycle rider after retirement, he enjoyed anything with wheels, going to car shows. He loved all kinds of wildlife and all his pets. He liked to raise chickens, was know as the “Chicken Whisperer”. Dan loved to shoot; he was a cowboy action shooter under the name of “Karnspur Dan”. Dan loved to eat, loved movies, and loved date nights where he could enjoy all three.
Survivors include: his wife, Anna Rowland of the home Geary, OK, his children, Danell Adams and husband Erich of Colorado Springs, CO, and Micah Penrod of Geary, OK, his sister, Beverly Thompson, and his brother, Joe Penrod of Geary, OK, as well as many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Elsie Penrod.
