Megan Hope Gieser was born January 6, 1986, to Dewey Lynwood and Teresa Gail (Crissman) Johnson in Weatherford, OK. She passed away Saturday, August 31, 2019 at her home in Eakly at the age of 33. Megan graduated from Hydro-Eakly High School where she was involved in basketball and softball. She was a member of the back to back state championship basketball team in 2000 and 2001. She attended Redlands Community College and Southwestern Oklahoma State University. She worked as a security guard for Sugar Creek Casino and Diamond Back Correctional Facility and was currently working as a paraprofessional for the Hydro-Eakly Public Schools. Megan enjoyed going to the lake, boating, and sports. Megan took pride in her work as a paraprofessional and did it well, she loved her kids. Among the many jobs Megan held, she took the most pride in being the mother of Emma and Zoey. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Weatherford, OK.
Megan was preceded in death by her grandparents, O.B. Crissman and William & Marjorie Johnson.
She is survived by her husband Dustin Gieser; children, Emma Jane and Zoey Larae all of the home in Eakly and Destinee Journey of Yukon; parents, Dewey and Teresa Johnson of Hydro; siblings, Scott Johnson and his wife Liz, Brett Johnson and his wife Crystal all of Clinton, Sharla Sharp and her husband Darren of Covington, and Desiree Gamble and her husband Calvin of Oklahoma City; grandmother, Jewell Crissman of Hydro; mother and father-in-law, Larry and Beverly Cluck of Kingfisher; two sisters-in-law, Marci and Todd Barron of Gracemont, and Jaci Thompson of Kingfisher; two brothers-in-law, Chase and Caleb Cluck of Kingfisher; twelve nieces and nephews, a host of aunts, uncles, and other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Dustin Gieser Family at the Bank of Hydro.
