John Russell Austin

John Russell Austin was born on November 14, 1960 in Okarche, OK to Albert Frank and Shirley June (Nix) Austin. He passed away on October 14, 2019 in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 58. Russell graduated from Geary High School and graduated from Canadian Valley Vo-Tech as a diesel mechanic and also attended Diesel Mechanic School in Dallas, TX. He worked on the farm as a dairyman, a diesel mechanic, and helping Frank and June. He was a member of Red Rock Church in Calumet, OK. Russell enjoyed fishing.

Survivors Include: his father, Frank Austin of Geary, OK, his sister, Pamela Sue Hahn of El Reno, OK, as well as many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, June Austin, his brother, Robert Lynn Austin and his brother in law, Jim Hahn.

Services: Red Rock United Methodist Church, Friday, 10:00 am, October 18, 2019, Calumet, OK

Officiating: Rev. Tom Cooksey and Rev. Travis Ewton
