Donald R. "Donnie" Johnston

Donald Ray “Donnie” Johnston was born on September 19, 1951 to Dale E. and Alice H. Schimmel Johnston in Anadarko, Oklahoma. He passed away on October 21, 2019 at the Binger Nursing Home in Binger, OK, at the age of 68. Donnie graduated from Lookeba-Sickles High School and worked as a machinist for Gulf Stream for 25 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of Sickles Community Church where he was baptized.

Survivors include: his daughter, Jennifer and her husband Jon Bakewell of Piedmont, OK, one grandson, Jacob Bakewell of Piedmont, OK, brothers; Larry Johnston and his wife Gala, Bill Johnston, and one sister, Christy Johnston all of Lookeba, OK, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Donnie was preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Alice Johnston, and one sister, Beverly Helmuth.

Services: Missionary Baptist Church, Saturday,1:00 PM, October 26, 2019, Hinton, OK

Officiating: Rev. Tom Clifton

Burial: Lookeba Cemetery, Lookeba, OK.
