Dolores "Dee" Del Russell

Dolores (Dee) Del Russell was born on March 22, 1941 in Lawton, OK to Howard Eugene and Nora Ellen (Olive) Russell. She passed away on October 8, 2019 in Oklahoma City, OK, at the age of 78. Dee graduated from Lookeba-Sickles High School. She was married to William Ronald Lanier for over 20 years and together, they had five children: Gina, Lisa, Greg, Michelle, and Angela.  Artistic by nature, Dee loved to paint with watercolors, do crafts, flower gardening, and collect rocks in the mountains. Dee loved watching NASCAR and spending time with her beloved cat companion, Polly. Dee loved her family very much and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include long-time companion, Lloyd Ross of the home of Oklahoma City, OK; 4 children, Gina Kilpatrick of Mustang, OK, and her children, Brandon Kilpatrick and wife Jina of Weatherford, OK, Caleb Kilpatrick and wife Bridgette of Sayre, OK, Megan Matheson and husband Rusty of OKC, OK, and Madison Kilpatrick of Mustang, OK; Lisa Zwirtz and husband Charles of Sapulpa, OK, and her children, Tricia Hartzell and husband Lance of Hinton, OK, Trey Thomason and wife Melissa of Hinton, OK, Trystin Palmer and companion Dalton Johnson of Tulsa, OK, and Tyrnei Palmer and companion Christian Morgan of Yukon, OK; Greg Lanier and wife Rosina of Lone Grove, OK, and his children, Devin Lanier and wife Ashley of Millcreek, OK, Kendra Hamilton and husband Michael of Lone Grove, OK; Angela Wirth and husband Dan of Pagosa Springs, CO and her children, Ashley Butcher and husband Josh of Pagosa Springs, CO, Heather Brooks of Phoenix, AZ, Breck Wilson and Ridge Wilson both of Pagosa Springs, CO; 20 great grandchildren and 1 on the way, as well as many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Nora Russell, her daughter, Michelle Lanier, and her brother, James Russell.
