David Ernist Buckles

David Ernist Buckles was born on July 9, 1952 in Hinton, OK to Ernist Percy and Vivian Fern (McSparrin) Buckles.He passed away on June 11, 2019 at his home in Hydro, OK at the age of 66. David graduated from Lookeba-Sickles High School in 1972 and joined the Army National Guard at Anadarko. He worked at Southwest Motor Freight before going to work as a John Deere Technician for Western Equipment for 32 years. David enjoyed fishing, watching football, baseball, and The Voice. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Hydro, OK.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernist and Vivian Buckles, his baby son, David Ryan Buckles, and his brothers, Herbert Wesley (Christine) and William "Bill" Emmett" Buckles.

David is survived by his loving daughter, Dara Buckles (Jimmy Morris) of Hydro, OK, his sister, Patricia Ann (Darrell) Mull of Guffey, CO, his beautiful grandchildren, Dara's sons, Ethan Orcutt, David Robert Orcutt, and Dara's daughter, Laci Orcutt all of Tulsa, OK, Jimmy's daughters, Sheanna Morris and Tera Morris, Jimmy's grandchildren, Caylnn Kestler and "MJ" Mannie Kestler Jr., many loving nieces and nephews, their families and other extended family members and friends.
