Daniel Ray Nix

Daniel Ray Nix was born at Geary, Oklahoma on August 29, 1951. His parents are Marshall C. and Peggy J. Nix. He had two brothers, the late William L. Nix and Timothy P. Nix of Yukon, Oklahoma. He married Patricia Helberg of Enid, Oklahoma on September 6, 1971; they had three children: Dustin Nix (Vanessa) of Weatherford, Oklahoma, Jason Nix (Season) of El Reno, Oklahoma, and Kelly Robinson (Steven) of Chandler, Oklahoma. Two step daughters, Angie Gilbert of Yukon, Oklahoma, and Christie Frank of El Reno, Oklahoma, his companion, Linda Ott, and Dakota, his dog. He had nine grandchildren. He was a member of the Baptist Church in Geary, Oklahoma. Dan graduated from Geary High School in 1969 in Geary, Oklahoma. He had several different occupations, and at the time of retirement, he worked at Sears in Phoenix, Arizona.
