Cindy Sanderson, 57, passed away Thursday, March 27, 2014.

A memorial service for family and friends will be held at Murray Cemetery, Saturday, April 20, 2019 at 11:00AM.

Cindy was born on January 13, 1957 in Anadarko, OK to Floyd and Erma Mae Buchanan.  She graduated from Binger High School and Southwestern Oklahoma State University with degrees in Elementary Education (BS) and Counseling (MS).

She had a passion for children.  As an elementary education and Sunday school teacher she took great pride and responsibility to make certain that each child had the very best opportunity to learn, grow, and be their very best.  Cindy had vision for what could be.  This vision kept her family moving forward to see all of the greatness the future had to offer.  She cherished her children, family and friends, and if you were a friend of her family her unconditional love extended to you. Everything she did in life was for the love, caring, and bringing joy to others. 

Her parents and niece Rachelle Smart preceded Cindy in death.  She is survived by her husband Don, their sons Aaron and his wife Amanda, Keith and his wife Courtney and grandchildren Jack, Lillie, and Henry, her sister Rhonda Smart and her husband Rodney, and her brother Brian Buchanan and his wife Tina; and niece Tiffany Golay and nephews Rodney Smart Jr. and Tyler Buchanan. Her selfless legacy will be carried forward through her family and friends.
