Aaron Mitchell Obituary

Aaron Scott Mitchell was born on March 27, 1982 in El Reno, Oklahoma, and passed away at his home in Hinton, Oklahoma, February 22, 2013 at the age of 30.  He attended Hinton School in the early years then moved with his parents, Bill and Jeannie Whitmire, to Wyoming, then to Colorado, and then back to Hinton.  He graduated from Hinton High School in the class of 2000.  He served seven years in the US Navy aboard the USS Carl Vinson, where he made his first voyage as the ship was the first to strike after the 911 attacks. While on leave he married Salina Mitchell.  After his discharge he made his home in Denver and worked for a pipeline company. Aaron later moved back to Hinton where he worked for Premier Chemical Company to the present.  He was a member of the Church of Christ.

 

He is survived by his parents; Bill and Jeannie Whitmire and Everett Mitchell, grandparents; Roberta Carpenter of Hinton, OK, and Don White of Chickasha, OK, siblings; Jami Trujillo and Adam of Trinidad, CO, Ami Mitchell of Hinton, OK, Danell Whitmire of Maui, HW, Trevor Whitmire and Amy of El Reno, OK, nieces and nephews; Kallysta Vecellio, Devin Vecellio, Emma Lane Mitchell, Trevor, Chase, Marissa Whitmire, aunts and uncles; Chipper and Robin Brookshire of Hinton, OK, Tim and Susan Jaques of Hnton, OK, Scott and Debbie Carpenter of South Padre Island, TX, Paul and  Paulette Mitchell, David and Deanna Mitchell of Hinton,OK, Ruby and Vernon Kilpatrick, Hinton, OK, Raymond and Etta Clark, Eakly, OK, Joe and Linda Mitchell, Eakly, OK, Lena and Jake Jamison, Eakly, OK, Leon Glen of Mustang, Nina and Cliff Bayne of Tuttle, Rob and Shelly Whitmire of Hinton, Skeet Rourke of Blanchard, and Jo Don Wynn of Chickasha; special cousins; Josh and Melinda Brookshire, Jennifer and Jarrod Hohmann, Ashley and Matt Langford, Cass and Allison Jaques, Taylor Carpenter and Carlee Carpenter, 4 brother mans, Jason Chenoweth, Tyler Brown, Cory and Nick Lee, and good friend Joe Norris, and a host of other cousins, relatives and friends

 

He was preceded in death by:  great-grandparents; Dale and Muriel Wakefield, grandparents; Carl Carpenter, Clyde and Margie Mitchell and Ida Nell White, uncles; Ray Mitchell, James Mitchell, Loyd Mitchell and infant brother, Chad Everett Mitchell.
